Steps to Replace Your Toyota Headlight Bulbs

  • Replace the bulb with a new A Toyota headlight bulb that is specific to your model year can be bought online or at an auto parts store.
  • Prop up the hood after opening it.
  • There are numerous body clips within the engine bay's grille. Take them all out.
  • Set the cover aside after pulling it up.
  • The area where the cover was has three more body clips. Make sure they are all removed.
  • Prop up the vehicle with jack stands after lifting its front end.
  • The undercarriage splash shield is attached to the chassis with a few 10mm bolts. All of them must be removed.
  • Make sure the fog lamp is disconnected. The harness will be visible once you remove the splash shield.
  • To replace the headlight assembly, move to the front fender well. The fender liner must be removed by unscrewing the screws.
  • Set aside the fender liner once it has been removed.
  • Do the same on the other side.
  • Pull off the front bumper gently.
  • The headlight assembly is held in place by three body clips. Each side has one, and the top has two. Take them all out.
  • Take out all the bolts that hold the headlight assembly in place. Keep an eye on the assembly's underside.
  • All wires in the headlight assembly should be disconnected.
  • After removing the old headlight assembly, install the new one in reverse order.
